Can you believe that December has arrived already? Yet another year almost over… But if you’re anything like me, there’s still plenty to do in the next few weeks! Sitting high at the top of my to do list is my Christmas shopping – there are presents to buy, cards to write and parcels to send – and the days are flying by. The big day will be here before I know it.
I make no secret of being a bit of a travel-aholic and many of the items on my Christmas wish list this year have been travel related. After searching high and low, in shops and across the Internet, I’ve put together a Christmas gift guide of (luxury) travel items that are fit for any Travelistas out there, both male and female. So let’s get started..
For Her
Aspinal Travel Wallet
I’m sure the majority of trendy travellers would agree with me that Aspinal is the place to go for practical travel accessories. I like to have all my travel documents in one place when I’m off on a trip, so the idea of a travel organiser is just perfect for me. The wallet comes in a variety of colours (along with matching passport covers and luggage tags) but personally, I love this raspberry and blue suede one!

Portable Charger
I’m sure we’ve all had those moments when your technology gives up on you in the direst of times – whilst taking a picture, publishing a blog or before a long journey when you were relying on your ipod for music. Well no fear, this gorgeous portable charger will be your new best friend as it can charge any device with a USB port. Whether I get this for Christmas or not, it’s something I will definitely be investing in before my next trip!

Travelling, keeping stylish and staying warm…. three things all rolled into one with this gift! This funky scarf has a map of New York incorporated into the print and for a girl who loves fashion and a girl who travels a lot, something like this is a perfect little gift… even if it’s to just wrap around your handbag while your wandering around exploring a new destination.
Being comfortable whilst travelling is of the utmost importance as is getting a few moments of shut-eye! This Ted Baker travel set, made up of an inflatable neck pillow, eye mask and pouch to keep some bits and pieces in, will help you in your mission of comfort and will keep you looking as trendy as can be. The floral pattern is totally girlie and well-worth owning… So board that flight, put your feet up and relax.
Molton Brown Women’s Travel Luxuries Set
Molton Brown products always go down a treat with me!! I’m sure that you’ll agree that when travelling, a small set of toiletries is very much needed, especially if you end up losing your bag! This brilliant little set comes with everything you need to store in your hand luggage or even for a short weekend break.

These shoes are practical and fashionable – a must for any trendy traveller. Plus a girl can never have too many shoes after all!

Aspinal Passport Cover
Whilst us girls like things to be bright and beautiful, men’s travel accessories look best when kept simple and elegant. Black with contrast stitching on the outside and a bright, royal blue suede on the inside it is a bright and cheery surprise. With the option of personalisation via initial embossing, the mature and sensible design will make the travelling man look very distinguished. Classic Ray Ban Aviators
Whilst travelling, the thing that most people look forward to is sunshine, but that leads to an issue. What sunglasses do you go for?! Well let’s be honest, no young trendy globetrotter should leave for a trip without their RayBans… Now whilst most people would love to have multiple pairs with colour lenses and different frame colours, the safest starting place is the simple and understated black and stainless mirror aviator. Much like the passport cover, understated is often best.

Sony In-Ear Headphones
No traveller goes anywhere without some music for the flight. Whilst big expensive headphones might look trendy and flash, these Sony in-ear headphones deliver brilliant quality sound with a discrete and simple look not to draw attention to yourself. While I picked them in white, they also come in black and pink so you can accessorizze with your outfits & travel kit ’till your hearts content!

Ralph Lauren Aftershave
A man may look the part when he’s on the move, but does he smell the part?! A mans fragrance is a very personal and deliberate choice. When my boyfriend’s favourite fragrance was discontinued, he spent a long time searching for its successor. In the end Red by Ralph Lauren was his choice and it’s starting to feel like he wore nothing else. It’s not over powering, lasts all day long and has a distinct, pleasant smell. A must have indeed!
