17 days, 19 trains and 12 cities. It could only be an interrail adventure!
If you’ve been following my blog for a little while you will know that almost every year I set off on an epic European rail adventure. Last summer was no exception and on 15th June, just a day after I completed the final day of my teacher training course, I whizzed up to London to begin the trip of 2017. What better way to showcase my trip than by video… scroll down to watch my Interrail highlights vlog!

Our travels took us to Brussels, then to Berlin via Cologne, onwards to Poland’s Baltic coast and the cities of Sopot and Gdansk, before we set off into the unknown visiting some new destinations; Olsztyn, Torun, Poznan and Wroclaw. After roughly ten days touring Poland, we crossed the border to Germany and spent a few days exploring Dresden, Leipzig and Wurzburg, before ending our trip in my home-from-home, Dusseldorf.
Without further ado, here is my highlights video

As always, the trip was amazing and travelling by train allowed us not only to enjoy the relatively untouched Polish countryside as we travelled between cities, but also to visit so many places within a compact amount of time. I’m definitely an advocate of train travel and the interrail passes!
