Is it just me or has March been and gone in a bit of a blur? This past month has been so busy and a little bit hectic too, but mostly in a good-hectic sort of way. Work has certainly been keeping me busy but I’ve kept on going with the promise of a pretty exciting trip at the end of the month. If you want to find out what I’ve been up to in March, keeping on reading…

Snow Days
As I’m sitting here in my room writing up this post, it’s almost 7pm, it’s still light outside and its relatively sunny too. That all makes it pretty hard to believe that just a few weeks ago a whole host of snowed was dumped on the UK and we woke up to a carpet of white. I had a few treacherous commutes into work but I can’t complain because I also enjoyed two snow days off work. Despite the absolutely freezing temperatures and icy cold winds, I enjoyed a snowy countryside walk and put my wellies to good use too!
Turning 26
At the beginning of this month it was my birthday and I turned 26. Whilst I did spend most of my day at work, I enjoyed a lovely dinner out at one of my favourite places in Reading, Cote Brasserie with my parents and Jack. This definitely made up for a slow day working! I then was treated to another present; Jack had booked a trip away to the Chapel that we went to last year for the following weekend.
Back to the Chapel
We decided to make a bit of a tradition of going to the little chapel in the Cotswolds as we love the atmosphere of the place, as well as the village it’s in. I started the weekend by being treated to a Michelin Star dinner at the White Horse and once again enjoyed their incredible food. If you get the chance, definitely visit! The next day, we thought we’d just relax and recover from the busy week at work. We started the day with a breakfast of avocado on toast, served with a poached egg. I then introduced Jack to the Despicable Me franchise. As it was my birthday, he couldn’t say no! We watched a variety of films all day, and ended the evening by ordering from an Nepalese Takeaway that we had discovered over New Years whilst staying in the area. On our last day, we explored Bicester Village, and did some last minute holiday shopping.
At this Very Moment…
As I am writing this in the evening on the 30th of March, we are just waiting for the taxi to take us to the airport to visit sunny California. The weather looks amazing over there at the moment, and we can’t wait to get the adventure started! Stay tuned to hear how we get on…

In Case You Missed Them..
Despite having a busy month, I’ve managed to publish quite a few blog posts. At the beginning of the month I announced my BIG trip which will already be underway by the time this post goes live and I shared my massive Paris bucket list in which I listed everything I want to do in the charming French capital. Mid march my long-overdue post on historic Hamburg went live, in which I shared everything we got up to during our 3 day trip. Most recently my boyfriend Jack wrote a guest post on his diving bucket list and I finished the month which the things I just can’t wait to do and see in California.
